Training and Certification

In order to become a Professional Accountant it is a necessary condition to meet the educational standards of GAIAA which are based on IFAC’s (International Federation of Accountants) Education Standards.

To obtain the title of Professional Accountant candidates should satisfy the criteria set out in the Education Standards in respect of education, professional skills, ethics and practical work experience.

During training courses candidates obtain technical knowledge and mastering professional skills which are necessary to solve problems in actual work situations. Competence of candidates is enhanced through online team work, comprehensive trainings and implementing real business projects.

Knowledge of candidates (professional capability and competence) is evaluated by 4-hour certification examination. Exam samples and works of prior examinations are made available for students which are a good tool get prepared for the exams.

Practical experience is significant to obtain the title of professional accountant. As usual, candidates start working and accumulate professional experience while taking the training courses. Usually, it takes 3 years of professional experience for candidates to show their competence necessary to receive a certificate.
